CEO - Rieni Santoso
Hi, I'm Rieni, and I'd love to share the story of how Virtary came to be. Back in 2006, I had just transitioned from a successful career as an account manager at an advertising agency to being a full-time stay-at-home mom. I loved being there for my daughter, but once she started school, I felt the itch to do something more. The challenge was finding a job that was flexible enough to allow me to continue being present for my family.
One day, while flipping through a women's magazine, I stumbled upon an article about the emerging field of virtual assistance. It was a game-changer—work from home, flexible hours, and the ability to leverage my professional skills in a new way. Intrigued, I decided to dive in.
Here’s the kicker—I didn’t even have an internet connection at home. So, I started working from a local cyber café. Amid the hum of computers and the buzz of dial-up connections, I landed my first client. My dedication, organizational skills, and commitment quickly set me apart, and before I knew it, demand for my services was skyrocketing.
By 2010, I realized that what started as a small endeavor had the potential to be something much bigger. That’s when I founded Virtary. I bootstrapped the business from my small living room, which soon transformed into a bustling office. One satisfied client at a time, I built a team of dedicated virtual assistants who shared my vision.
Today, Virtary is a thriving agency known for its top-tier virtual assistant services. Virtary is a renowned virtual assistant services agency based in Jakarta, the vibrant and beautiful city of Indonesia. Our main focus is to assist small business owners, entrepreneurs, and startup companies from across the globe with their needs. Virtary was established in 2010 on a shoestring budget by Rieni Santoso, from the corner of her home. She currently leads an excellent team of over 100 delightful freelancers.
